Mission City

Statement of Faith.

A Living Faith

Many times, people take statements of faith as a chance to pick apart people’s beliefs and say why they don’t labor with one another because they focus on what they don’t agree with as opposed to what they do agree with.

Also, statements of faith can be all “talk” and no “walk.” Every time I’ve been asked about our statement of faith, I’ve responded by challenging each person to "come and see." We invite everyone to come and labor alongside us and witness our lives STATE OUR FAITH.

Who We Are:

We are a non-profit organization supported through the generosity and prayerful giving of

individuals, churches, businesses, and foundations that support our mission.

Our Mission:

Our mission is to see day and night prayer in San Antonio fueling missional living all over the world.

Who We Serve

Mission City offers assistance to ex-incarcerated, homeless families, immigrants, refugees, and the elderly, as well as people in need of counseling and healing. In the spirit of compassion and respect, we are looking for Brothers and Sisters in Christ who will partner in this work with us.

What We Do

Among our programs are our free Counseling & Healing center for those suffering from trauma or addictions, and our prayer room, which is open to all believers in San Antonio. Through our Street Ministry, we provide workforce solutions to veterans, ex-incarcerated, the homeless, and those in need of assistance from the streets of San Antonio. As with our Wednesday gathering, our community gathering is a time for worshiping together and sharing testimonies.

Core Beliefs.

Truth is the Word of God

The Word of God is Truth, life-giving, living, and powerful.

The Holy Spirit is a Helper and Teacher

The Holy Spirit lives in everyone who accepts Yeshua/Jesus as their Lord and Savior in their heart and confesses it with their mouth. The Holy Spirit is a helper and teacher.

Seek Out Truth

We are SEEKERS OF TRUTH. We are learning and growing through revelation by the Holy Spirit and reconciliation by the Son back to the Father.

God is Sovereign

God is sovereign. He is eternal and existent as the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. He is a good, loving Father and His ways are just.

Salvation Comes

Through Christ

Birthed from a virgin, He lived a sinless life. Crucified, then raised from the dead, Christ ascended to the Father and is interceding for us even now. He is the only way to salvation and the Father

Yeshua (Jesus) is the Messiah

Yeshua/Jesus is the Messiah. He is the true Shepherd.

“In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.”
